PARTNERSHIP WITH JUVENILE JUSTICE SYSTEM
The juvenile delinquent population was chosen first, because of its urgent and critical need for a success seekers; program, and, secondly, the age range is predisposed to change and most susceptible to an acceptance of the four goals set for it by the seminar:
Self control,
Self respect;
Self-achievement; and
Self accountability
The means by which WATV reaches its goals with this at-risk population is as follows:
The first phase of the success seekers seminars motivates the success seekers to seize control of themselves, develop sincerity, practice relaxation exercises developed by AIP, and rid themselves of rage & stress.
The second phase of the program continually engages the participants to take "the oath of non-violence" (the AIP creed) and pledge to abide by its principles.
The third phase of the seminar causes the Success Seekers to become aware of their potential, establish goals, and embark upon the execution of those goals to achieve success.
PARTNERSHIP WITH THE NATIONAL CHRISTIAN COALITION FOR ADULT LITERACYThe mission of NCCAL (the National Christian Coalition for Adult Literacy) is to improve lives by mobilizing the caring power of communities.
