BASIC WATV PROGRAMS TO WIN THE WAR  AGAINST TEEN  AGE  VIOLENCE

MONTHLY TSS MEETINGS
In addition to the five week Success Seekers Seminars, at monthly meetings, Teens explore career  choices, set  goals and objectives, and dare to dream about their future. They are taught to view the many problems of their lives and the challenges of  their responsibilities into simple groups and to  peacefully handle them one by one.

PARTNERSHIP WITH LOCAL SCHOOLS
Non Violent programs are presented at Special School Assemblies
Teens experience  conflict resolution through viable scenarios of violence prevention.

At meetings, all Success Seekers talk of their dreams and explain to the group what long and short term objectives they accomplished.

PARTNERSHIP with HARBOR CHURCH & PASTOR IRBY JOHNSON:
TSS Members are taught that God will answer their prayers in the form of enormous gains in their performance and accomplishments  when they invest time each day in praying and acting to accomplish specific objectives geared toward fulfilling dreams and aspirations. AIP members & celebrity spokespersons maintain ongoing speaking & entertainment programs to promote non-violence in schools. AIP includes Group homes on its non-violent tour program

EX-OFFENDERS PROGRAM
AIP recruits ex-offenders to take the Oath of non-violence & become AIP Success Seekers whereupon they are motivated to establish the goals and  objectives necessary  to seize control of their lives and successfully fulfill their dreams. This, through meetings and programs which run concurrently, but separately from the TSS Programs. Special emphasis is placed on short term career goals, and placement opportunities.

ACCELLERATED COLLEGE PREPARATORY PROGRAM
Through a partnership program with Temple University, TSS members can take advantage of an accelerated program in pre-freshman English to insure TSS Member’s readiness when they attend college.

PARTNERSHIP WITH JUVENILE JUSTICE SYSTEM
The juvenile delinquent population was chosen first, because of its urgent and critical need for a success seekers; program, and, secondly, the age range is predisposed to change and most susceptible to an acceptance of the four goals set for it by the seminar:

Self control,
Self respect;
Self-achievement; and
Self accountability

The means by which WATV reaches its goals with this at-risk population is as follows:
The first phase of the success seekers seminars motivates the success seekers to seize control of themselves, develop sincerity, practice relaxation exercises developed by AIP, and rid themselves of rage & stress.

The second phase of the program continually engages the participants to take "the oath of non-violence" (the AIP creed) and pledge to abide by its principles.

The third phase of the seminar causes the Success Seekers to become aware of their potential, establish goals, and embark upon the execution of those goals to achieve success.

PARTNERSHIP WITH THE NATIONAL CHRISTIAN COALITION FOR ADULT LITERACYThe mission of NCCAL (the National Christian Coalition for Adult Literacy) is to improve lives by mobilizing the caring power of communities. The NCCAL's goal is to "Build a better America by developing individuals and families through literacy."
