HISTORICAL BACKGROUND & WHERE theAIP BASKETBALL
                                    FITS INTO THE MIX

There are many High School Basket Leagues, such as the AAU, Recreational, and Traditional High School basketball leagues. AAU basketball is a platform structured as a travel league in which teens are not playing for their High Schools, and the specific team travels from state to state, tournament to tournament to present young talent to different colleges. Recreational leagues are used for entertainment purposes to promote a safe environment for people to play basketball.

Traditional High School basketball is a platform used to promote representation of the High School; as well as, a tool to motivate teens to not only want to go to school and get an education, but be involved in a positive environment.

AIP’s basketball league is a sole platform that consists of all the above practices. theAIP is getting involved with all of the inner city schools of Philadelphia, and providing a league catering to the youth when High School basketball is in off season. AIP’s league will consist of a positive environment where each High School team will play in games representing their High School, and theAIP will record each game and present the game tapes to colleges.

TheAIP Basketball League is an exclusive platform designed specifically to keep students in High School long enough to matriculate to the next educational level by becoming successful student athletes.   TheAIP League steers young athletes to colleges, and keeps them away from negative environments. By forwarding footage of High School Student Athletes’ game tapes to colleges, theAIP provides colleges an easier platform to find these inner city success prone kids who want to go to College and represent their College in the classroom as well as on the basketball court.
