African-American Men 1000, Inc. is embarked on an historic recruiting effort to enroll 100 African-American Men in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, and the surrounding areas, to serve as Volunteers, Mentors, Tutors, Teachers, Coaches, and other functions of greatwill, to keep our Children in school.

Our entire community wins when our children succeed in school. Research proves that caring volunteers working with students of all ages have the power to help kids boost academic achievement and greatly assist them by putting children on track for a bright and successful future.

African-American Men 1000, Inc., strongly believes in the power of having African-American Men Volunteering, Mentoring, Tutoring, Teaching and Coaching our children, and it calls on African-American Men ages 18-80, and older, to join our important movement!
